Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

AGENDA 2030

The Sustainable Development Goals were established by the United Nations (UN) as a universal call to protect the planet and ensure that all people have dignity. It is a set of goals that guide governments, companies and corporations towards a more sustainable and inclusive world. They serve as a guideline for countries to overcome the most pressing environmental, political and economic challenges.

ERG Construções embraces this cause by adopting the 2030 Agenda of the SDGs as a key factor for sustainable development and overcoming environmental, political and economic challenges. With this in mind, ERG Construções has prioritized 3 SDGs at local level, to which it believes it can make an active and more effective contribution.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE

The management of environmental aspects at ERG Construções is directly related to the environmental impacts of the company's activities and the environmental performance of the buildings and infrastructures we construct.
Preservation and respect for the environment are essential principles in the actions of our employees, which they also pass on to other stakeholders.
We follow and support the ISO 14001 standard as a global model for environmental management systems, with the aim of continuously improving environmental performance. As such, we have introduced specific systems to help identify and effectively manage environmental risks and have implemented measures to control consumption, energy and waste management, among others

SUSTAINABLE CITIES

By 2050 more than half of the world's population, or up to two thirds, will live in urban areas. Therefore, our duty is to define strategies that allow for the continued growth of cities, focusing on sustainability, security, resilience, among others. We need to work together with local communities, local authorities and other stakeholders to design different ways of managing social and environmental challenges.
